The Karkloof Conservancy and WILDTRUST have staged the epic Three Cranes Challenge for over a decade now. In 2023 the Karkloof Conservancy will take over the management of the race.
This unique trail running event, located in the Karkloof, is hosted in support of the Conservancy’s conservation efforts.
The race offers runners unparalleled majestic views, stunning trails through grasslands, farmlands, forests, past wetlands and other natural features. It is a guaranteed personal adventure! On many different levels.
There is a time out zone on day one so that you can enjoy a Zipline and a time out zone on day 2, at Benvie Gardens, where you can enjoy a high tea. This and the breathtaking landscape sets us apart from other races.
3 days of running in paradise. While enjoying the beautiful scenery you are contributing towards raising funds for the conservation and biodiversity work of the Karkloof Conservancy in the Karkloof area.
Race options – 100km over 3 days, 25km on day 2 or 5km on day 3.
