05.00am-18.00 The tariff is R30 per person
Normal access to the hides: 05:00 until 18:00, without making a booking however should you get to the hides and there are a lot of people, please use your discretion regarding social distancing, even if this means you will need to leave the hide or allow other people access. Courtesy is Key in allowing everyone appropriate viewing time
We can allow a maximum of 10 people on any one day at Loskop (Wattled Crane Hide, on the right) and 6 at Gartmore (Crowned Crane Hide, on the left).
R30pp, R20 per child under 12 years, children under 5 years free. Pensioners day FRIDAY – R20pp. You can pay via EFT or use the honesty box. (We prefer EFT in advance, for safety reasons. Please carry your proof of payment or post it in the honesty box. Thanks)

HIKE BOOKING PROCEDURE:
- You will need to book in advance by email if you’d like to do the Yarrow falls Hike conservancy@karkloof.co.za Week days only.
- When booking please indicate which date you wish to book, how many people and give us your telephone number.
- Your booking will be confirmed with a reference number. You will need this number as proof of the booking. Please use the reference number and your name when paying via eft or paying cash/using the honesty box situated outside the office door and ensure you sign in the register at the bird hide.
