3 Cranes Big Day Out

Grade 4 – 7 learners from our four farm schools will take part in a cross-country challenge to win some lovely prizes. They will be treated to a picnic lunch and environmental education activities.

Activities include:

• Our Wonderful Cranes – by Nkanyiso Ndlela of the KZN Crane Foundation
• The Scoop on Poop – by Di Martin of Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife
• Water is Wonderful – by our favourite frogger, Charlene Russell

The accompanying teachers will be given a wonderful opportunity. The Jess Foord Foundation will be conducting a workshop for them about the correct way to deal with learners that are abused or raped, as many of them are faced with these difficult circumstances.
