Karkloof Conservancy’s 20th Annual Game Count

Our 20th Annual Game Count takes place on Friday 8 July 2016.
Counting will begin on your farm at 5.30pm and must finish by 7.30pm to ensure that you are back at the Karkloof Country Club by 8.00pm. Your figures will be processed by Janine Smith, regional Secretary of the EKZNW Honorary Officers.
In true traditional spirit, a warm welcome coupled with Gluwein will be served upon arrival and log fires will be on the go – so please don’t let the cold weather keep you away!
Jennie Shaw will have Butter chicken curry and Saucy citrus pudding on sale at R80.00 per adult and Hamburger and Chips at R30.00 per child. Non-counters are most welcome to join us for dinner. We enclose the figures of our 2015 game count which we hope you will find of interest as well as this year’s game count forms. These forms can also be collected from the Conservation Centre next week. Please indicate to us if you need extra help with counting, as the Lions River Honorary Officers are available once again to assist.
Scoop on Poop: The Karkloof Kids Club have arranged for Di Martin of EKZN Wildlife to set up her scats and tracks display for kids to learn more about the signs of the wild and the identification of South African animals.
